This is a factual piece from Pastor Benson. However, as the world moves on, the means we use to achieve our objective changes. Human being evolves in their intellectual capacities and the social scientists of today are different from yesterday. Military overthrow is no more popular, firing squad is no more popular although we still have mass incarceration etc. The US presidential aspirant Bernie Sander is presently calling for revolution, calling on the youth to join him to revolutionise the way the USA system currently works. I don’t think he means to change the whole leadership or the whole US institutions but to work within and effects the will of the masses for a much more better governance.

French Revolution was in the 17th century, Cuba revolution started 1953 etc. All recent successful revolutions are changes that took place within the system not a complete changes of the system, even the South Africa transformation happened within, not completely eradication of the institutions. Likewise the Arab Springs in 2011, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt etc. The failed revolution among them attempted a complete change of the system, like Libya etc.
The force of the Nigeria masses could revolutionise Nigeria without a complete and brutally change of the system. If we are ready to participate, enforce the principle required and make the necessary change.
