The President,National Movement for Positive Change (NMPC), primarily a body committed to positive change in Nigeria, Barrister Niyi Aborisade, has called on Nigeria to cement their constitutional power of electing their choice political officer holder in the next general election by participating in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise as well as collecting their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

Aborisade made this known in a statement issued on the Movement website, urging all constitutionally qualified citizens to participate in the actual movement to elect leaders of their choice.

According to the statement: “Every qualified Nigerian youth should take the ongoing ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise as well as collecting their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) seriously.

“The future of a greater and better Nigeria as they have been agitating for, dreamt of, discussed on both social and traditional media is here through their vote beginning from the next general election.

“You don’t talk about setting up a peoples’ government by sitting on the fence. You have to participate and the only legal way to participate and make a choice of your leader(s) is to get a PVC.

“As a body that is poised for a ‘Positive Change’, I am calling on all Nigerian youth to get a copy of their PVC. It is your voice, your power and positive weapon to make a choice without fracas. Get yours; tell your friend to get one and help another friend to get his,” Aborisade said.
