THE National President of a Non-Governmental Organisation and democracy group, National Movement for Positive Change (NMPC), Mr Niyi Aborisade has come out clearly to declare he is neither a card carrying member of any political party, nor working to promote interest of any politician in Nigeria.

Aborisade, a solicitor of Supreme Court of England and Wales stated this in a statement following his recent articles on the activities and political development in Nigeria which were recently circulated worldwide through the organisation’s website – https://www.nmpc.org.uk/.

He also noted that the NGO-NMPC, which has been organising seminars and talks about educating the electorates across the length and breadth of country in the last few years is not routing for any politician or political party in Nigeria.

Aborisade in a message said: “It has come to my notice that people think of me as PDP man. This is not true. I do not belong to any political party. I do not work for any political party.

“NMPC is neutral on issues. We say things here the way we see it and expresses our opinion with conviction.

“I can say that we have been approached by both sides with allurement and we have turned them down.

“I repeat again, I do not belong to any political party. If my writings condemn any political party or individual, let them change their ways and improve. The progress of Nigeria is what i am concerned about.”
