THE National Movement for Positive Change (NMPC) has condemn in strong terms the fuel scarcity which

has ravaged the Nigerian community in the last two weeks.

This position was made known by its president, Barrister Niyi Aborisade in a statement made available at the weekend.

Aborisade said it is unfortunate the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration despite all its assurances is yet to find solution to the country’s perennial fuel scarcity, noting that the Federal Government could not deny it knows nothing about the shortage.

The NMPC boss also frowned at the cheap publicity of the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo trying to sell fuel to the masses in a filling station in Lagos.

The statement reads: “The scarcity is due to ineptitude of the Government and their failure to arrest the situation before it goes our of hand. The government has been aware of the shortage before this time but failed to do so anything in time.

“The shows of shame by the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo putting fuel in a vehicle does nothing to ameliorate the suffering of our people. It is becoming business as usual at every Christmas period . APC was voted in because they promised to bring about change in the administration of Nigeria, but they have failed so far.”
